Round II, Part III: Sweets Galore

Ahh, New York, New York.  I've grown sweet on you...  Heehee.

When we went to the city, we decided to go out and have a bona fide dessert to cap off our evening.  First, we checked into Dylan's Candy Bar, a true wonderland full of treats.  If you ever need to feel like you're in Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory, just step right in.  The colors will dazzle you.

The store fixtures are all so adorable!  There are giant lollipops everywhere, a chocolate fountain, and this Dots candy table is ingenious.  I also love the cheeky message on the shot glasses...

Next up after Dylan's we sent to Serendipity 3!  To be honest, I've wanted to go to this restaurant ever since watching Serendipity (the movie) and seeing how cute and cozy it was.

Now, if Dylan's Candy Bar looks and feels like Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory, Serendipity 3 surely smells like it.  It permeates with rich chocolate aroma -- reminds me of my trip out to Ghiradelli's in San Francisco earlier this year .  And of course, I just had to order the famous Frozen Hot Chocolate!!!  I actually ordered it as the "Frrrozen Hot Mint Chocolate", but didn't taste any mint in it... oh well.

The frozen hot chocolate was really good.  It was such a large order of chocolate goodness, but it was great to the last drop.  Can't wait to get this again!
